Throttle Mount

Recently purchased a ‘98 2700scr, minus the motor.
I’m now installing a MERCRUISER 454.
I can’t figure out where the Throttle Cable Bracket attaches to the engine.
I understand how the cable itself attaches to the Bracket though.
I’m wondering if I’m missing another part.

The barrel on the cable sheathing goes onto the end of the bracket and the center core attaches to the lever on the carburetor.

Not the best picture but this should help. This is not the exact setup for your bracket but you should get the idea.
