Default 2002 maxum 1750sr trim switch

The trim switch on my 2002 maxum 1750 mercury throttle has gone bad. I need to replace it but i can't find a model number for the throttle or trim switch. Any suggestions?

Is this for an outboard or an I/O?

How do you know its the switch at the throttle/shifter and not a bad solenoid? Bad solenoid is staggeringly common, bad switches, not as much.

This is an IO

The switch isn't moving well and catches. I read a post and tried to take it apart but realized that I have to drill out the rivet that is holding the switch together.

I did bypass the switch by connecting the leads at the pump before the solenoid and it worked just fine.

Here is a picture of the switch:

Ok so by jumping the solenoids input you verified the solenoid and pump are good. Did you get the power from the battery or use power from the switch circuit? Note there are two fuses on the pump assembly; one is located between the two solenoids and powers them as well the other fuse which provides power to the helm switch, it is an inline fuse. I would first verify the switch is getting power. If it is then you’ll need to replace the switch. Looks like a newer Quicksilver 3000 model control.

OK, I took the switch apart and sprayed 4D-40 on it and put it back together. Seems to work. My local marine shop said they could get me a new switch for $110.00 in 2 weeks. Didnt give me the part number for the switch.

BTW, I found the part number for the throttle it is: 858690 A07. S/N 0158295

Anybody have the part number for the switch
