So I have a 99 Maxim 3200 scr and I had the boat summarized and the mechanic told me that the steering pin had signs of leakage. My question is if I decide to move forward with the repair how likely am I to get into a problem with the boat transom? Would there be concern for rot? When I say leak it is really more of a drip. Any advice would be appreciated
