Default Maxum 2300 SCR Instrument Panel Removal

My 1993 Maxum 2300 SCR came with a depth display that is connected to a sensor in the engine compartment. The display no longer works and I want to replace it. Before I get started, I have a question. Do I have to remove the boat's helm in order to remove the instrument panel?

Thanks in advance.

I had a '97 2300 scar and as I recall, you can remove a panel in the head compartment to access the rear of the instrument panel. Just a few phillips head screws.
Good luck!

Were you able to get this figured out? We need to replace some bulbs in our dash.

I have just removed my instrument panel which I ended up drilling out the lower mount screws. It looks like some wiring is wrong to say the least.
By chance does anyone have a picture of their wiring with the panel pulled forward? I’m hoping to find a likeness from another 93 2300 SCR?

What makes you think the wiring is wrong, is there something not working?

I have a 93 2300 SCR as well. Just in the process of restoring and wiring the instrument panel. Had to drill out bottom screws as well as disconnect the rack and pinion from the helm to remove.
It’s not easy finding any specific wiring diagrams for our boat models. The closest I could find it for the Maxum 2555 and 2755 which I pulled from here which may help as it did for me. If your trouble alarm is still wired properly I would definitely like to see to double check mine?
Good luck.
