Default 2003 Maxum 2400 SC Cockpit Cover

Hi everyone -

I have a 2003 Maxum 2400 SC and am in desperate need of a new cockpit cover (NOT a whole boat cover). Does anyone know where I may obtain one or is this going to be a custom job?

I do have the old one but it is ripped and can not be repaired. I did receive a quote from a local canvas shop but they want $2500 to do it. Just looking to hopefully get a better price.

Any help is appreciated

Try leta's top shop.google it for her website. It's located Arlington Washington. Long story short if you don't might putting snaps in you can save some money. If not your thing I would go with the local shop. $2500.is a little high but not within reason.

Good luck

Roger

What Roger said. I don’t recall if Leta’s (canvas) or CanvasPlus (seat vinyls) went out of business. Last year whoever it was looked for someone to buy them out but I don’t think that happened.

I've been hearing this same story in a number of marine trades. This is the second marine canvas shop that I heard couldn't find someone to take over. I heard about a rigger (sailboat) about 6 months ago.

I have a 2400SD. I was just quoted 2200 for a Yellow sunbrella cockpit cover here in CT.
