Why are the envolopes open on other requests and my reqests the envolopes are locked am i doing something wrong

I don't see any threads which you have started or contributed to, which are locked. Even locked threads can be opened and read, the lock only prevents posting a reply.

Do you have an example of a thread which you have a question about?
