Default Ski boat taking on water

I have a MAXUM Ski boat. It’s 18’ long and a 1997, unsure of the model.

Last summer it started taking on water, specifically when stopped or idling. I’ve looked under the boat and cannot find any noticeable cracks. There are some scratches from years of use. Plug is in and secured.

Any suggestions/solutions?

Did you check the shaft for leaks. What about a leak on the engine cooling system; water pump, hoses, exhaust,...?
