Default put a hole in my boat

Ha!!..got your attention eh!!...well..today I finally got the nerve to install a new portlite in the batcave...I went to the boat and taped off the side of the hull where I thought the hole was going to be...of course I had to add some more tape and then drilled some pilot holes...then I used a jig saw to open the hole up...I opened it up several times so that I didn't make the hole too large by accident...then I put alot of 4200 silicone sealant and squeezed it out and of course it was like anything you touched..it smeared all over the place...after cleaning most of it up...it looked pretty good...It took me a couple hrs to do ...and it was scary as hell to make that first hole......but afterwards I guess it will work....it sure lets light and air into the batcave....
I up loaded some pic's in the gallery...enjoy...

Default hole in the boat.

I just put one in the port side of the boat..they aren't cheap either...167 bucks just for the window...add screws..silicone sealant....and something to calm my nerves afterwards...the stbd side has a tunnel for services and my AC/heat system...

Well, cheers is definitely in order. It's good that you are fixing the factory deficiencies.
