Swim Platform for 01 2400SCR

Hey everyone!

Looking to add a bigger swim platform to my boat. Friend at the marina has one by Swim Platforms and it looks really nice. Where my concern is on the added weight right to the back of stern. Platform weighs approx. 110lbs. I have the 5.0 engine with an Alpha 1 gen 2 drive. I already feel it's quite a bit under powered, and not sure adding extra weight is going to be a good thing, or if I can just overcome with the trim tabs at takeoff. I scuba dive, so the existing platform is a bit tight and would love some extra room back there. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
