Default fresh water fill

Where do you fill the fresh water tank on a 3000scr. Been trying to fill from the water pressure regulator but discovered that is only for shore water as it bypasses pump.

found it. But now totally confused. Put the hose in where the cap said water, walked away for 5 minutes came back and mid bilge pump running. Compartment in galley flooded from unglued clean out fitting. Why is fresh water fill going thru waste tank cleanout?

Waste tank pump out should be labeled waste. The water fitting should fill the fresh water tank. Have you traced the hoses?

Those caps get dropped in the water all the time. Perhaps someone lost the "Waste" cap and replaced it with a "Water" cap? On my 3200, the water fill is on the port, and the waste and fuel are right next to each other on the starboard.

I'll preface this by saying....I have completely re-plumbed the sanitation plumbing (heads, lines, holding tanks, macerators, etc) on several boats over the last 18 years........

What do you mean "clean out fitting"??
