Default Trailer primer/paint?

So I have been searching and really have not found a good answer on what primer and paint I should use on my trailer. I have started to remove the old paint/rust with angle grinder and wire cup and will have it ready for paint soon. Im just not sure what product to use. I need to brush/roll on. Any suggestions?

Steel frame?

Are you looking to make it pretty or protect it?

If to protect it I would go with an epoxy paint and whatever primer it recommends.

Here is how it looks to start. The boat has been at the mechanic for over a week so waiting to get it back Monday or Tuesday to get at the trailer. Im thinking about flat white.

The challenge is going to be to find a home for the boat during the project. It'll be difficult properly stripping, priming and painting the trailer with the boat sitting on it.

So almost have it done. Went fairly well took a full day to strip paint off. Then slowly been working at painting and putting things back together. Put in new wheel bearings and hubs while I was at it and the led lights are almost all on. Im really happy with the way it turned out.
