Shipping international 2500 or 2700scr
Hello Maxum Lovers!
I''m just about to purchase either a 2500 or 2700SCR 2001 model. I will shipping it from the USA to Thailand.
I'm wondering if either of these models would fit into a shipping container and if anybody has done this before on this forum?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Welcome aboard
Yes it has been done but you should contact a shipper to work out the exact details.
Maxums have been bought and shipped by folks all around the globe.

Thanks for the quick reply Mike!
Do you know which exactly models have been shipped inside a container before?

The models you mentioned should not be an issue but hopefully someone who does this will chime in.
I know folks have shipped the 2400 this way as well as a Sea Ray 270.

I'm curious how they would secure the trailer in a container? They do not get treated with much kindness.

From what I have heard they strap them down inside.

Not a Maxum power cruiser, but this sailboat was shipped from Australia in a container.
