Finally got the name on the boat!
I know, there's another thread with the same title... But this ones about my boat! Lol
When I bought the boat, I told my fiance I was buying her this instead of a ring. That's why there's a diamond ring next to the name.
Sorry guys, having trouble attaching the pic....

Good luck getting her accept that, she'll want both the boat and the ring

Kevlar ...it does happen....for our 10th wedding anniversary the admiral picked out a new Kawasaki Stx-15f jet ski for our present to each other. I told the salesman ,"sure beats diamonds".

Well, I'm quite a bit younger than you guys, but I am working on my second marriage and my 3rd career... But you're right Mike, I think I'll end up getting the ring too....
Speaking of which, can you loan me some money? Lol.
And, its Kevin. Kevlar is my nickname, and I made a name for myself racing a ZX-7R when they were already an outdated overweight bike. That's why its Kevlar7R.
But, back on topic, I used SpeedySigns for the vinyl, and I am extremely disappointed with the quality. I'll probably end up peeling this off and replacing it in a year or so. But, its hard to see the defects from 5 feet away.

I'm sure Mike will agree...... it won't hurt. The ring that is.

Oh, it'll hurt. My property taxes are doubling in January, need tires on the truck and the mini, and I think the Mini's throw out bearing just crapped out. This whole being a responsible adult thing is crazy expensive!

Oh and I thought Kevlar had to do with your job making vest or something.
Lend money! I just finished getting my second daughter through college so I have none and need to save for retirement.
I hope the second time around works out for you and a nice ring is a start but being open with each other will will go a lot further.

The name looks good from here. I bought my registration numbers and my boat name from BoatUS. They're easy to install provided it's prepped properly.

This was low quality vinyl, so the transfer sheet was almost stickier than the vinyl adhesive. Had trouble separating them. Also, it was fragile and tore in one spot when trying to get it flattened. Oh well, learned my lesson. Buy the good stuff.

I bought the boat us vinyl also. It was way easier than I thought, and saved several hundred from the lowest quote for a professional to do it.
