Speedy recovery from the umbilical hernia surgery I just had.
My grandsons 1st birthday coming up in March.
Moving into my waterfront house that renovation has just started on.

Health and funds for 2018 boating.

My First Mate and I wish everyone a safe and happy new boating year. We still have like 100days to go up here in the Inland Empire around Lake CDA. But this a great time to read stories and plan for those cool new gadgets and electronics to make your dock mates cry with envy.

Happy New Year

As I set in my couch watching the thermometer go from 0 to 24 in the sunshine this morning and after watching the national news , I take pity on my east coast Maxum friends going through this nasty noreaster . Bundle up and pray for April to come quickly ...lol

Thanks Roger, I’m lucky we only got 2 inches of snow but it’s very cold and windy. Heck of a time to start remodeling my house as right now there is no roof structure as I am adding a second floor over 3/4 of the house. Well at least my apartment is warm.

Your June - Aug., is equivalent to our Mid December - mid-march in terms of harshness. Much like when I used to live in Florida. The only difference is when you look outside in July it looks deceiving beautiful out. Unlike right now, when I look outside and see 1+ feet of snow. I don't get this confused urge to take the boat out.

It's going to be so cold this weekend with the wind chill, I'm not even going skiing. This leaves only one thing left to do........which reminds me, I need to stop at the liquor store.
