Default Drive oil leak at transom hose fitting

Greetings all,
Had a great time on the water last weekend in St. Andrews Bay, FL with our 2000 2400SCR. After pulling her out and while washing her down, I noticed some drops of drive oil dripping on to the wash rack. Upon closer inspection, it appears to be coming from the hose that comes out of the transom, that leads up to the ext. drive lube monitor mounted on the engine. (5.7L 2bbl w/ BIII). It didn't start dripping until we were a good 10-15 minutes into rinsing.

I have the Clymer manual, and I believe I have the quick disconnect fitting that the hose from the drive connects to the transom. I am unable to see if the hose is leaking, or the fitting itself, but I am guessing the fitting. I may have been hitting it pretty hard with some high pressure rinse water, but I find it hard to believe that could cause a leak. Then again..........

Anyone have any experience with this hose line that goes from the outdrive thru the transom up to the lube monitor reservoir? It has pretty much bled out all the drive oil, but at least it is on the trailer. I can see the fitting, but don't think I can get at it without removing the drive, which I am comfortable doing only on my Alpha on my other boat, but not the Bravo III. That is a monster.

Thanks Crew.
