Default Bow horn removal??

I have a 01 2300SC with the horn recessed in the bow. There are no screws on the cover. How do you remove it to repace? Does it just pop out or do I have to go in the cuddy. What type of replacement do I put in?

Thanks,
Shep

you need to go in thru the anchor locker ...it's really hard to get into but can be done...I'd replace it with either the same thing or add a trumpet horn....those stock horns are really wimpy....I added a trumpet horn on the side of my boat near the helm...it was a bear to install but man is that thing loud....no kidding ...it gets the attention now!!....

Ancor locker is solid. Pried off the cover and removed the two screws that hold the horn in. On mine there was actually 3 screws that hold the cover on, but came off easliy. My Maxum dealer in Richmond, VA was the cheapest I found the horn. $33+ for the horn and $3+ for the cover.
