Default Spring Shopping List

These 60 degree days here in Maryland have me ready for the season to start, though I know its one of many of our infamous false springs. Nevertheless, I want to prepare by gathering my parts for some maintenance when it finally warms up. My 2006 5.0 MPI has just 250ish hours, however, I'm not sure the exact history on what all has been done. I know I'd like to do a tune up on it for piece of mind. My research has brought me to the following list of things to order and maintenance to preform. If I'm missing anything or if anyone has anything else they know from experience I should also do please shout it out.

Spark plugs
Wires
Cap/Rotor
Fuel filter
Oil change and filter
Lower unit water pump impeller
Lube everything
Clean flame arrestor & IAC muffler
Annual deep cleaning, haul and bilge

Missing anything?

If lube everything includes gear lube you have it covered. Maybe check/clean battery connections.

Thermostat might be a quick and easy one to include to your list.
Annodes
Trim oil
Fresh fuel with injector cleaner

I did thermostat and annodes last season. I do also have trim and injector cleaner as well, thanks!

Is this boat trailered or wet slipped? F wet slipped, anodes should be done yearly and inspected mid season. I used to be in a hot marina where I went through 2 sets of anodes a season.

I'd also include wax on that list.

Off season its on a trailer, but during the season its on a lift and everything is out of the water. I'll take at look a the anodes, if they are hinky looking I'll throw a kit on, that really isn't anything heavy lifting. My deep cleaning includes a buffing and waxing of the exterior as well. The blue on the sides seems to oxidize pretty quickly. By the end of the season its pretty weathered, but after a nice buff in the spring it looks amazing.

One of the things on my list is changing the plugs. Mercruiser calls for AC 41-932 plugs, however these seem not to be available anywhere. Quicksilver says to use NGK IRT4A-15's. If this is the part that supersedes the AC plugs I'm ok with it, but I remember an old mechanic friend one time saying NGK stands for "no good kind". Any one use these and are they acceptable?
