Default Crossover fiberglass pipes

Crossover pipes in z41 sca with Cummings diesel to move exhaust water and fumed.
Fiberglass pipe that crosses over from starboard engine to exhaust has small leak in fiberglass core. Drip is about 7 drops at 2000 rpm.

Plan trip to Florida and am concerned about leak getting worse and pipe possibly breaking. Also of exhaust fumes getting into boat.

Any thoughts.

If it's small and leaking a very litle bit, you might be able to get away with a temporary fix using safety tape. It's going to need to get replaced one way or the other. If it were me, I'd do it before the big trip. There are enough things to potentially let go which aren't expected. I like to take care of the ones that are clearly indicating potential impending failure BEFORE they actually fail. That is why they call it preventative maintenance.

Thanks, sounds very logical. It is much smarter to get it fixed.
