Default What does each switch do?

Hello, I have just purchased a 1996 maxum 1900 sr and I am not sure what all the switches are for. The main one I question is the knob beside the key. If someone can tell me what every thing does that would be great

Well welcome aboard!

Who did you buy this boat from is my first question? A private owner or a Marina? They are the ones that should of told you ! I don't get why a buyer put themselves in this position? Most of these switches should be marked or go crazy and just turn the switch on and see what happens. You're not going to hurt anything. So go back to wherever you bought it from and ask them . I'm not trying to be a smart arse here but that will probably be your quickest way of finding out.

Good luck with your new toy!

Roger

I agree with Roger, turn them on one at a time to see what comes on. If nothing then it’s either a spare accessory switch or you’ll need to dig in further. You may need to start by verifying power to the switch then document the wire color on it which should help us provide a better guess on where it goes.

I cannot see the key nor the knob beside the key. A real picture (rather than a picture of the picture on your phone) and a bit closer might help.
