Default Oil gauge not working - Maxum 1800 SR

Hi
The Oil gauge is not working anymore. Gauge is constantly on 0. Oil level is fine.
Do you have any hints where to start troubleshooting?
Greetings from Denmark
Regards
Bo

Welcome aboard!

Remove the sense wire from the back of the gauge. Start the engine and the gauge should read zero. Shut it down and install a jumper from the gauge sense terminal to ground, start the engine and it should read max scale. If it fails this test the gauge is bad. If it passes the sender is probably bad but you can test it with an ohm meter.
