Hoping someone can assist. We bought our boat a few years ago. We have 2 batteries and battery switch. There is no power going to any of the gauges therefore they don’t work. Bilge works so there’s power to that. Any thoughts on what the cause could be? Was wondering if when replacing batteries a wire got lose with the battery switch or would that not cause this issue? Thanks

I’m not familiar with this model and not sure how it’s powered; outboard or I/O. If the later I would check the 50 amp circuit breaker on the engine to verify it has 12VDC on both terminals. If it does then I would check the ignition fuse in the fuse panel under the helm or check for 12VDC on the B terminal of the ignition switch. Power at the breaker but not at the ignition switch, check the round harness connector on the engine. No power to breaker check the 90 amp fuse on the starter solenoid.

The engine is an I/O. The boat starts and engine runs fine just none of the gauges work.

So no power to the fuse panel but boat turns over. Any ideas if this could still be the 50 amp breaker you mention?

If the engine is turning over there is power to the B terminal of the ignition switch. The gauges get power from the ignition switch’s I terminal. Does the engine start? If not I would suspect the switch if yes then it’s a loose wire between the switch and gauges.

Turns over and starts are two separate things. Turn over means just cranks but not start.

Switched power to the gauges is a purple wire.

Another thought is there could be a common negative wire loose causing the problem.

Do any of the other switches at the helm work? courtesy lights, Nav Lights, dash lights, drive trim, trim tabs, horn?

Is this isolated to the gauges themselves?
