Default New owner of an '07 1800 SR3

Hi all, pleasure to be the new owner of the above boat. Actually bought the boat sight unseen, from out of state. Will never do that again, but seems that I still made a good choice.
Boat had only 161 hrs. on it which drove a large part of the decision. Had to buy a mooring cover for it and 2 new tires for the trailer. Found out the engine oil was 1.5 qts. low; thank god I checked before starting. But fresh oil and filter, topped up drive fluid and power trim fluid and all seems well.
Shame they don't make 'em anymore, appears to be a well turned out Bayliner Classic 18. I've owned Bayliner before, I know the drill, but this just feels better.
Was a bit surprised how slow she is, even with the V6. My 135 hp Stingray felt much faster, but then again wife likes the comfortable ride, as do I. I might go with a Dolphin plate and a 19" prop at some point, she if she will get out of the hole a bit faster.
Anyway, great to be here, will get pics up soon. Always enjoy the convos/info on a site like this.

She seemed to get up to about 4500 rpm. I believe WOT range can be as high as 4800.

WOT for this engine is 4400-4800 so you could decrease pitch by one size to see if that helps.
