New member - 2004 Maxum 1800 SR3
New member here - I picked up my 2004 Maxum 1800 SR3 about a year ago. While I am a long-time sailor (Catalina 30, Sunfish, crew on many other boats), this is my first powerboat.
I'm trying to do all the maintenance myself. Last year I replaced the plugs, plug wires and distributor. This year, I'm going to do the impeller, and bellows.
Long term I'm going to reupholster all of the seats and the carpeting (I have a small side business and will use it as a learning experience).
The boat is kept on its trailer near Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte, NC USA.
