Default New 2300 owner

Hello all!

We just picked up a new to us, 2300 SR Bowrider. The wife and I are not new to the boating world but we are new (and very excited!) Maxum owners.

A little history is, I am prior navy and now working as a contractor. When I got out I ended up wanting something to do so decided to tinker on a cheap non running Bayliner 18' cuddy. Some manuals, self teaching, and jar full of curse words later it ran beautifully and sold it for a profit. Add a few years and a couple of flips later we found ourselves owning a Bayliner 2855 Ciera aft cabin. I loved the Ciera, but ultimately she was just a lot more boat than we really needed and since we only own an F150, removing the marina out of the equation was just not really possible. She sold a few days ago and we already landed ourselves with a nice 2300 SR, and surprisingly enough this baby is turn key water ready! We are taking our maiden voyage this weekend and look forward to a lot of skiing, tubing, and of everything else!

Congrats. I had the 2300 SC version once and loved it. Only complaint was the tiny swim platform. Look at an aftermarket add on.
