Default New 1996 Maxum 210SS Owner

Greetings!

I recently purchased my first Maxum and it seems to be kind of rare.

1996 Maxum 210SS Ski. V-drive. Mag 350, One owner, 300 total hours, always garage and maintained. Excellent condition. Scored a great deal on this boat. Going to set it up for wake boarding and surfing. The boat is amazingly stable and smooth.

Hi, I just recently purchased the same boat. Mine has 900 hours. Have you had any issues? I couldn’t find much info about this model.

I have this same boat, just purchased a few months back. I hunted it down for about 2 years. One of the rarest and most sought after boats maxum makes. Incredible surf wake, great layout and affordable. You, like me, have found the unicorn. Enjoy your 10k boat that puts out a 75k+ surf wake.

I bought the exact same boat a year ago. Mine was in horrible shape and it’s a project. I’ve replaced the ECM and pretty much all the electrical components. Replaced all gauges and upgraded to GPS speedometer. But I knew all this when I bought it and couldn’t be happier. The one thing I’m having trouble finding is a dash panel. Any suggestions?

Try this place they can make one for you.

I said panel but should have said console. Or whatever the whole thing is called. Im probably just going to take it off and have it wrapped or restored. I’ve looked everywhere for an aftermarket one with no success.

By the way, does anyone know a link for a complete operators manual for our 210’s?

I have the exact same boat. Can you do me a huge favor? I removed my dash to replace the gauges. Unfortunately the labeling tabs I used are too faded to read now. (I know I'm an IDIOT!) I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere online. Could you please take a picture of your dash from underneath and post it here. And a picture of your dash from the seat so I can see what wires go where. Or any suggestions from the forum to help in this situation. Thanks guys.

Default This might help.

I would try a google search like this:

1996 maxum 210ss ski. gauge wiring diagram.

Then select images and the boat tab under that..scroll and look threw the different pics.
I found mine in a similar search.
Just a thought.

Google Mercruiser wiring diagram, gray wire is tach sender, light blue is oil pressure sender and tan is water temp sender. The rest of the wires are generic; black is negative, purple is positive switched.
