Maybe the better question is, what controls the limit of the down trim?

The ram bottoms out on the IN stroke and cannot physically retract any further.

im not sure how they are retracting all the way down to the end on the rod then.
it used to stop at level and now its just slightly pitched towards the boat.
if you look at the ends on the picture you can see where it always stopped.

They are now working correctly. The drive should be able to tuck in a few degrees.

I just want to be sure everything is ok so I took a few pics.
the one with the red lines is where it used to stop
the other 2 are the current movement
