Fuel intake

Hi folks.

The attached photo is of the fuel intake on top of the fuel tank.

I tried to take it off by turning it, but it didn't budge.

Am I correct in assuming it screws in and out?

Hi there.

Any suggestions how to siphon the fuel from my tank.

Fuel Pump

I just replaced the fuel pump. I thought I bought a identical one.
But I am not so sure now.
To mix things up, I have had a carby kit put though it, and I have played with the mixture.

He needed a flexible socket spanner.
He told me he watched how to do it on YouTube.

The problem with it is, you can put into gear without pulling the red lever up and the up control stops working when the boat is underway. But the trailer button works when underway.
