Default UPHOLSTERY

I have been wanting to get some upholstery work done for my 1994 1800 XR and spoke with US MARINE about getting new but they told me that the older boat paterns were sold to CANVAS PLUS the phone number is 360-435-0932. I was very happy to find this information and will be getting everything I need, I was given a better price by CANVAS PLUS then having the work done local. Hope this information is helpful to anyone redoing an older Maxum like myself.

Default Maxum Upholstery

I have a 1998 3700 SCR that needs some seat reupholstery. I've been working through a US Marine approved marine superstore down here in the Tampa Bay area. I wonder if they are going through Canvas Plus for the actual skin material? How was the craftmanship work? Do they do the whole job or just supply the material?

John,

I ordered just the skins from her and I'm not sure if she does the reupholstery. I believe she has her own small shop and she has allot of the older pattern from US marine. I was told to call here by a girl in the parts dept. at US marine. I ordered SS staples and I am going to do the work myself. She uses the same material as Maxum so it will match if the sun has not bleached the color real bad. I live in a small town and I had trouble finding anyone to reupholster for me. If you order the skins from her I bet you could get them put on for a fair price in Tampa.

Default 1998 3700 SCR

Thanks for the information. Maybe I can get the job done a little cheaper if I go directly to the source. Many thanks and great boating! :P
