Default heads?

guys,

a valve hit the piston on no2 the ex valve.

can any one get me a set of vortec 5.7 heads?.

and this is my new engine the one thing i did not do :twisted:

it probably would be very cost prohibitive to have a set shipped from the US...might wanna look at boatfix.com...they maybe able to help out....how bout your local bayliner store??...they could order the set and have them dropped shipped to you.....
let us know what happens...

yes what bad luck!!.

and it was runing nice to,

i got the valve out now ,and can see where water has been on that valve


now i got the engine parts to do the engine your end.so was thinking
if any of you NICE NICE lads hehe, can put on to some.my end they are asking $1,000+ for them.your end and shipping you will top that!!.

the heads i need is the 8 bolt inlet type.you know for a junk yard that may have them.

i did try ebay but cant see them yet .if you guys do drop some links for me here :wink:

got it runing now 8)

this is the plan,if i cant get the heads,how about a new set of valve springs?.any one know much about that setup?.

its in my head not to rev it now till i do the springs.but still i had a nice day out today and good fishing to :wink: .

let me see what I can do...send me the details of the springs you want....ie engine size...both inner and outer.....size...weight....spring tension if you know any of those.....atleast the yr and model engine....I'll do some checking around here and let you know what it's gonna cost ya plus the shipping.....
