‘98 2700 Engine Choices

First time Maxum owner here. Just purchased a ‘98 2700. Beautiful boat and super clean. Has the Bravo 3, but is missing the motor. The gentleman that I purchased it from bought it from a dealership and was told that it originally had a 5.7. Soooo, my question is…do I look for another 5.7 or upsize to a 7.4 or basically any large block. I know torque is everything and have read that with the Bravo 3, even the 5.7 perform really well. If that’s true, it really opens up buying options. Would love to hear from first hand owner experiences.
