Default no drain plug in 3700

I looked at a 1998 3700 today. i loved the interior layout and can live with the cockpit layout. the boat had major issues though. the floor in the cabin at the foot of the steps, going from the cabinets (port side) to the step down into the aft cabin was totally rotted away for a width of about 8 - 10 inches. the only thing saving me from falling thru, was the rug. upon investigation of the stringer below, the top 3-4 inches literally fell apart in my hands. the rug was damp and the rug in the aft cabin floor was wet, but i couldn't tell where the water would have come from. the engine room had about a foot of water. the odd thing was there was no drain. Did these boats come with a drain? I plan on looking at a 4100 with diesels this week. Not having a drain plug is no-no for me.

No questions about that boat. No way i'm dealing with that much rot, especially when the stringer literally fell apart on the top when i touched it. the main question is why doesn't this boat have a drain plug. the current owner states he bought it like that.

My 2001 3500 SCR does not have a drain plug either. Gotta depend on the bilge pumps, and need a wet/dry vac for anything they won't discharge.
