Default !998 4100 scr

I've set my sights on a 1998 4100 with Cummins 6TBA's @ 1050 hrs. after passing on a 3700 scr that needed new stringers, cabin floor, and motors. I will be getting the 4100 surveyed and will have a diesel mechanic look at the engines. Is there anything that i should be looking out for on these boats? any idea what the fuel burn is at cruise? I have a long ride home if i purchase it.
Upon initial inspection the only issues I noticed were:
- no drain plug for bilge
- rear cabin has hatch in floor (to access shower sump). the screws/nails that
attach one side of the lip around the opening to support the hatch came loose. did not feel or see any wood rot underneath.
- generator runs but does not produce any power (not too concerned with this).
