Question 2001 Maxum 3300 SCR current part numbers and vendors

I recently bought a ‘01 3300 SCR, and am attempting to refurbish several items. I found a huge listing of Maxum boat parts and part numbers at maxumboatparts.com, but I don't know what vendor(s) will recognize them. Is there a resource available to map these old part numbers to something that a current parts vendor would recognize? Any guidance is welcome. Cheers, John

You're not going to have much luck searching for maxum part numbers, but you'll quickly figure out the manufacturers by asking around. This board is a great resource, as is the maxum owners Facebook group. Here's a list I put together for reference when I got my 3300:

Pumps: Jabsco, Shurflo
Head: Jabsco, Shurflo
Stove: Origo
Windshield: Taylor
cleats, lights, deckplates, misc. hardware: Perko
Trim Tabs: Bennet
Nav Lights: Perko
Tables and Posts: Todd industries
Shifter: Quicksilver (Brunswick brand)
Gauges: Faria
Compass: Danforth

Thanks for the info, Stucknorth. Learned about certain vendors AND that there is a Facebook group...as a newbie, I didn’t know that. Cheers!

Most of the parts aside from the deck and hull are manufactured by a third party. Almost all can be retrofit with aftermarket parts. Boats are like lawnmowers or cars. You're probably not going to go to a dealer and order 'parts'. You're going to simply need to shop for the 4rd party manufacturer or find something close and fabricate it to work.

Hey Capt John. This is random, but I have a question. I have my eye on a 3300 that is out of state, but truth be told, I've never been on one. It looks like you may be on Lake Lanier. Is there any chance you'd be willing to show yours off one day?
