Default Gouge in hull

I have a gouge in my hull. It isn't major but bad enough that I dont want to ignore it. How do you guys fix them. I read something and they recommended I contact the Manufacturer for proper mix ratio, but we all know that cant happen. Thanks in advance. Mike

Is the gouge just in the gelcoat or has it damaged the fiberglass?

They were probably describing the colour mix to match the gel coat colour. Manufacturer info wouldn’t help that much on an older boat anyway. You need a good gelcoat repair person to give you a decent match though it will never be perfect.

I’d recommend watching some Boat Works Today YouTube videos if you want to try it yourself. Great info there on what to do.
