Default Switching power steering to the port engine

Greetings from sunny Cyprus!

The starboard engine on my 1999 Maxum 3000SCR failed and it'll take a month or so to get a replacement core delivered here, so I decided to use the boat for troll fishing with just the port engine. Not terribly fast, but serviceable, especially on the calm summertime seas here.

To make life easier, I'm thinking about temporary connecting the power steering to the port engine's hydraulic pump, which is unused with its hoses short-circuited through a pass-through fitting. I'm planning to order hydraulic hose extensions to run from the port side engine to the steering cylinder.

Did anyone here performed a similar task and can recommend a hose/fitting configuration for me to order?
