Default Exhaust Manifold Mounting

So engine is ready to go in. Question I have is, should I mount the exhaust manifolds and risers before putting it in or after.

I would install the manifolds before but leave the risers off as it may be too difficult to mate them to the hoses while lowering the engine.

Honestly, it depends on whether it will fit through the deck hatch with the manifolds on. In my 1997 2800 I had to take the manifolds and risers off of one side of my 496 (8.1), then spin the engine side ways to get it to squeak through the hatch. If I recall I needed to do the same when I removed the 454.
