Default 3500 Exhaust
Anyone know how to determine the original mufflers spec’d in for a 2005 Maxum 3500 SY with 8.1s Merc’s ?

I assume that this is an inboard and not an IO?? What is wrong with the existing lift muffler?

Are you asking about the lift muffler, or the exhaust manifolds. Manifolds are replaced regularly, while the lift muffler is not.

They are inboards, lift mufflers are too loud. I’m considering replacing them with a quieter version.
