Here are the pictures of the final installation. I think everything turned out well. It will really crank the tunes out and have the flexability to watch a movie in the cabin.

Default Two 12" Subwoofers!

Just been working on adding two 12inch Subwoofers to my Maxum 1800sr. Still not finished but getting there!
photo-1..jpgphoto..jpg
I took a subwoofer box and cut it to fit. Working on enclosing and porting.
The plan is to add extra tweeters and next summer speaker cans on the wake tower.
Total 600watts RMS NOT Peak!
These are MTX Thunder 5500 12inch but are not marine grade. I had these from a car.

WOW, you won't even have to start the engine to have a wake around the boat! Looks like it will really rock!

TJ,

Does that lcd swivel mount provide enough stability to keep the lcd from bouncing around like crazy while under way, or in rough water? Or do you secure it additionally? One last question, how the hell does the microwave come out? Mine seems to be secured somehow with no visible points that I can access to remove it.
Looks great!

The swivel mount has the thumb screws to tighten up each joint, so before getting under way I tighten each one so it won't move. I haven't had any problems as of yet.

My microwave has a single phillips head screw that holds it from underneath. It goes right where the ruber foot is on the right rear corner of the microwave.

Thanks Bella, I will see if that check will buy me any fuel this summer. For some reason, I doubt it!
