More stress on the transom assembly components that they were not designed for, not a fan of those bolt on foils. Your boat your decision.

What is the rpms at 18-20 mph? Have you tried trimming the drive?
Trim tabs may help but they add drag so more rpms will be required. Water conditions such as going with and against the current if...
