No I never named her. I only get up that way once...

No I never named her. I only get up that way once or twice a year. I have not even been out once yet this year between work, weather, and house renovations.

That picture looks like a Bravo kit and not and...

That picture looks like a Bravo kit and not and Alpha; Bravo uses O-rings to seal drive to bellhousing while the Alpha has an overall gasket and o-ring for the water passage

Is this a sterndrive engineering unit?

I know some folks who have been happy with their products and some not. the ones who were not did get free replacements but needed that 5 year warranty.

Sorry to hear this but the drive sounds ok. The reason the prop only spins in one direction is because in gear the clutch dog is engaged to turn the prop and you cannot turn against it.
