I was able to look it up last night and the answer is 7000BTU.
The power to the unit has a 15 amp breaker, 120V X 15 amp = 1800W. Therefore a 2200W gene will work with a little reserve.

mojoe welcome aboard. I have a 1997 2400 SCR with A/C. I will look over the weekend at my paperwork and see what the BTU rating is.
