Default Sleeping Quarters Question on 02 2400SCR

Hoping I can get some insight here on the sleeping situation on my 2400. For the past year, I set up the upper area in the cabin where the table is and convert to the bed. My wife and son would crash there and I would crawl into the cuddy. Trying to reverse that as I am tired of crawling in and out of cuddy, and my son just turned 15 and probably not jazzed sleeping with Mom lol. So last night we switched spots. I am 6' tall, and good lord am I hurting this morning. I was cramped ALL night. I am wondering if we are just not laying the right way. We slept across with head at the Port side feet on starboard. Is there a different direction we should be facing? Just doesn't seem right. I know the front seat goes up, is that where our heads should go, or feet....currently need to get some new pistons as it doesn't stay up. Not sure why something seemingly so simple is confusing me, but just can't figure it out!!!

Thanks!!!!
Dave
