Default New 2600se owner

Hey everyone just wanted to say hi. Just purchased a Maxum 2600se. Was one of my goals to own a decent size boat. I had a bass boat prior with an old 2 stroke Suzuki that made me want to rip my hair out on the regular.

Just wanted to say hi and mention that I appreciate communities such as this for specific questions. Great community I can see thus far.

Any recommendations on reading and learning material going from a small outboard to this beast would be much appreciated if anyone has any recommendations. I have done a ton of reading, but still feel like I know nothing about how these inboard motors work compared to the outboard I use to own. Anything I need to make sure I keep an eye out for outside of the obvious items such as oil level, fuel water changes at winter, oil changes, etc?

Any advice is much appreciated even if it’s just recommended reading material thank you!
