I can get the stringer placement by measuring from the other hatch. I can also get bulkhead placement by shoving a tape measure into the hole until I hit a solid object.

I have wood floors, and there is ONE hatch near the V-berth, it opens to a bilge pump, but there is a bulkhead near it.

My question is shouldn't there be another hatch in the center centerline...
