Correct. Voltage is measured in volts. Current...

Correct. Voltage is measured in volts. Current is measured in Amps. Unless you have a draw on the circuit, measuring current will be very tricky. Voltage is what determines if a circuit is good.

T10 bulbs should be screw in. G4 lights have pins. I don't believe the circuit goes THROUGH the light itself like an old set of christmas tree lights.

The circuit will be from the light switch...
