Default 1999 4100 sca

I am looking at this boat later this week. I am looking for some advice from those that own this particular model. The draft of 2' 3" will be great for the Great Lakes and rivers while I do the Great Loop. But, how will that affect me as I travel to the Bahamas and the Caribbean?
Thanks for you input in advance!
Scott

Sailboats cruise the bahamas. Even with shoal keels, they are still drafting way more than 2'3". Trawlers also frequent the Bahamas with no issues. Bahamas are shallow, but they're not THAT shallow. Not everywhere.
