Most bilge pumps I've seen have 3 wires, 1 ground...
Most bilge pumps I've seen have 3 wires, 1 ground , 1 lead for 12v that you can wire a float switch to control the off and on. And 1 lead you can run to your rocker switch to manually control the off...
