I treat the gas with Startron every time I fill the tank. Maybe it was bad gas. I guess I'll plan on replacing those filters every year also.

When I get the best efficiency, I burn about 13 GPH at 3500 RPM running about 20 knots over smooth, flat water. I've never seen anything close to 10 GPH on plane. I've been told the 5.0 MPI is small...

The high fuel rate is stable most of the time, although it does fluctuate. On this last trip, it was 18 GPH for most of the hour we were on the water, but it did jump to 20 briefly at times....
