Thanks ! There was a small leak where I noticed some drops of water coming from the top boot . I hope that is all it is , that elbow assembly is not cheap ! Thanks , for the tip , I learn more each...

Manifold elbow ( port side only ) has turned white , almost looks like a flakely loose substance . Someone has told me this is the salt water working its way through the metal from the inside out ....
