seems like the alternator is making the sound....

seems like the alternator is making the sound. Not sure of the voltage but I will check that.

I did cut the power to the battery to try that....

I did cut the power to the battery to try that. It runs off the alternator but it doesn't sound great. Whines pretty good. Any chance that could be starting to fail causing a momentary loss in power?
